I know, it's a couple weeks late, but, Halloween was a good one. The lady across the street invited us to go trick-or-treating with her, her two daughters and her two grandchildren who were close to Gracie's age. Gracie really had a good time this year even if she didn't ever say "trick-or-treat." She managed to go door-to-door with the two other kids, carrying her little pumpkin bucket but was too shy to say anything once the people opened the door. Gracie went as a lady bug this year and was absolutey cute!!! I figured this was probably going to be the last year I go to pick out her costume. They grow up so fast.

Possibly Moving Back to Indiana
So, after Simon has been at Target for just about two months, they have now personally requested him for his position in the Plainfield, Indiana facility. We moved away knowing that in a year or two this opportunity might come up since there is only one of Simon's position per facility, we just never knew it would come up this soon or that Simon would be presented with it.
Simon has now gone down to Plainfield to visit the facility, meet the people, etc. to see if he would be interested in taking over that position.
We would love to move back. I think we would all be happier if we moved back, I just want Simon to continue to love his job even if he moves into a different distribution center. He says so far so good and now we're just waiting for Target's incentive package. Target is going to have to unpack for us as I'll be 7 months pregnant or so and have already been restricted to a lot of rest from my doctor.
Keep your fingers crossed, we may be moving back.

And we're having a . . .

little boy. We found out last week we're going to have a baby boy. We're so excited. It's the first little boy for both sides of the family, everyone has had little girls. Now, it's agreeing on a first name for our little man. I chose Jackson (Jack for short) but, Simon isn't too hip for it and my mother-in-law doesn't like it all. Simon told the people he works with what we had selected for a name and they all loved it. Fortunately, that led him to believe it wasn't just me that liked Jackson for a first name. We kind of like Foley as well. We'll see what we end up with. We'll have to break out the giant baby name book here soon I suppose. You can only call the little man "little man" until the day you leave the hospital since you have to put a name on the birth certificate. I have a due date of January 26-28, 2009. I'm hoping the dr. will allow me to be induced again like I was with Gracie. My family wants to come and be a part of the event and that would allow them to do so. We'll see. My dr. is really funny and cool so I'm not thinking it'll be a problem.

Big Day
So, today is the big day of our ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby. Neither Simon or I really have a preference as to what we get, as long as we get a healthy baby. We're both quite excited but I think I may be a bit more so. We have a terrible time agreeing on names so we'll see what we get and wehre we go from there. If it's a boy, I like Jackson (Jack for short) or Crosby. Simon doesn't really care for either. He likes Jack but our friends/neighbors from Indiana's son's middle name is Jackson. He feels it's a conflict. I don't see the big deal. If it's a girl, I like Sophie, Tessa, Lilly, Addison, Madeline (Matty for short). There seems to be an endless erray of names for a girl. Simon hates Tessa because he knew someone growing up with that name. He likes Sophie and thinks if we named our child Lilly his family would call her Lil. Maybe we could go with something like Lil Wright and she could become a little white girl rapper?? Well, gotta start getting ready for the big event.

Potty Training
So, we just moved to Illinois about six weeks ago. It's going good. We had started potty training with Gracie shortly before we moved and then with all the chaos of relocating, we decided to put it off until we had more time to focus with her on the task. All of a sudden, two days ago, Gracie come up to me and says "potty mommy." We went to the potty and she went. She came to me again yesterday holding herself and said again "potty mommy." We went and sure enough she went. She continued to potty in the potty the remainder of the day Sunday and we started again this morning with her continuing to come and tell me that she needs to potty. I'm so proud of her, she decided on her own it was time.
